Michael J. O'Connor

Michael J. O'Connor is an experienced litigator whose practice includes civil litigation, public-sector labor law, business law, and environmental law.

A graduate of Widener Law School in 1995, Michael O'Connor started his legal career as in-house counsel for an insurance company. For five years, he litigated numerous cases in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, and he supervised his company's litigation throughout the country. With his expertise in insurance defense and personal injury law, Mr. O'Connor has since broadened his litigation experience to include environmental law, federal civil rights defense, and education-related litigation.  Mr. O'Connor is a frequent lecturer on all aspects of public sector labor law, and he actively defends public school professionals accused of job-related misconduct or other employment-related problems.
